What is the WQA Convention & Exposition?

The WQA Convention & Exposition is the most comprehensive annual gathering of water treatment professionals.  The event connects industry professionals with technologies, know-how, education, training, networking and business opportunities in one convenient location.  

Where and when is the show being held?

The 2019 WQA Convention and Expo is being held April 23-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Education sessions are offered April 23-25; the Expo is April 24 and 25 in Exhibit Hall C4. 


In addition, pre-convention education is offered April 22, and the second annual WQA Business Boot Camp will be held April 26 at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Do I have to be a member of WQA to attend the conference and exposition?

No, you can attend WQA Convention & Exposition and not be a member of the Water Quality Association (WQA); however you are eligible for discounted registration fees if you become a member of WQA. For WQA membership information, click here.

I am not a resident of the United States; can I attend the show?

Yes! Visitors from 44 different countries attended WQA Convention & Exposition in 2018.  

International attendees are welcome to register through the registration link. An official letter of invitation to attend the 2019 WQA Convention & Exposition will be sent upon written request. This invitation is intended to facilitate the participant’s travel and visa arrangements but does not extend financial support. To request a letter of invitation, please provide your name, title, company, address and passport number to Stephanie Salvatierra at ssalvatierra@wqa.org.

What are the trade show hours?

The exposition hall will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 25.

How do I register for a professional certification exam?

Advance registration is required and is available by contacting education@wqa.org or by visiting the testing website.

Is there a separate fee to attend the education sessions?

Your registration fee includes the exposition and entrance into posted educational sessions.

Pre-convention workshops, special events and Business Boot Camp require and additional registration and fee.

Is there a separate fee to attend the Welcome Reception?

The Welcome Reception will take place Wednesday, April 24 from 5 to 7 pm at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Admission is included with your badge. If you wish to bring a guest, you may purchase a Welcome Reception Only pass for $75.

What is the WQA Business Boot Camp all about?

Back for a second year, WQA Business Boot Camp is a one-day intensive conference that gives you the tools you need to run your business. It is held the day after the convention ends -- on Friday, April 26 -- at the Wynn Las Vegas. The separate registration fee can be paid during the convention registration conference.
