2020 Water Resources Congressional Summit

Tuesday March 3 & Wednesday March 4, 2020

WQA members are invited to come together in Washington, D.C., to serve as advocates for the improvement of water quality to enhance quality of life through sustainable technologies and services by visiting with congressional offices at the annual DC Fly-In. This year, WQA again joins the National Ground Water Association and the Irrigation Association to host the Water Resources Congressional Summit.

“The DC Fly-in is an incredible opportunity for you to join other WQA members who volunteer their time to support WQA’s mission.  On Capitol Hill we are personally educating leaders and advocating for our industry and the role we can play as a near and long-term solution provider to many of the drinking water challenges facing our great country.  If we want to continue to drive this industry forward, we can’t be on the sidelines, we have to be in the game.  Please come join us in this unique opportunity.”– Steve Ver Strat, WQA President 2019-2020

The summit will begin on Tuesday, March 3rd at 10:00 AM Eastern Time, followed by an evening reception. On Wednesday, we will have an entire day of congressional visits in small groups with the last meetings of the day planned to end at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.

Attendee Registration includes lunch and a reception on the 3rd.
