Volunteers power WQA and the industry’s initiatives. WQA offers a variety of ways for you to get involved, from short-term projects to standing committee, council, and board service. With every new volunteer, WQA grows more energized, more diverse and inclusive, and better equipped to reach our common goals.
We encourage you to deepen your engagement with WQA and with your water treatment peers. Volunteer today!
Throughout the year, WQA posts current volunteer opportunities on the volunteer web page. This is a great way to find ways to get involved that fit your interests and the time you have available.
Cross-Correlation Task Force
Time Commitment: Task Force members are expected to participate in scheduled conference calls and face-to-face meetings at annual conferences as needed throughout 2022 and early 2023. One-hour meetings are expected around once per month until work is completed. Regular status updates will be presented to the Industry Research Committee.
Description: This task force is being asked to cross-correlate market trends data for the water treatment industry, such as the Consumer Opinion Study, Tank and Valve Report, and relevant external market trends reports. No experience in market research is needed. More information can be found in the narrative linked here.

Most committees and advisory councils require attendance at three meetings per year. Meetings may take place virtually throughout the year and/or face-to-face at WQA’s Convention and at WQA’s Mid-Year Leadership Conference.
WQA Sections are open to all WQA members to participate. Typically convening twice, a year, Sections offer members additional opportunities to meet with peers to provide input and share their expertise. Sections refer issues for attention to the WQA Board of Governors and staff and provide semi-annual reports to the Board of Governors.
