Keynote speaker: Dex Hunter-Torricke

“The World in Sight: A Guide to the Key Technological Trends of the Next 10-20 Years and What They Mean for Your Business”

 A communications expert with more than a decade’s experience at the heart of the technology industry, Dex Hunter-Torricke will inspire and challenge you. He combines his experience working for some of the world’s most-innovative and technology-driven brands with his passion for social innovation to help companies shift towards a 21st century business methodology.
 
"Our convention theme is ‘Impact,’ so Dex is a perfect fit,” said WQA Executive Director Pauli Undesser. “His experience as a speechwriter and communications leader for Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk and other technology industry giants makes his message captivating. Additionally, I found his message very pragmatic and that his experience affords him an up-close-and-personal view of ways companies can embrace change, connectivity and the emergence of a global generation.”
 
Hunter-Torricke is head of communications for the Oversight Board, the independent body making decisions on Facebook and Instagram’s most challenging content issues. Previously he was director of communications at SpaceX, and before that he led the executive communications team at Facebook and served as Zuckerberg’s speech writer. He also has worked as an executive speech writer at Google.
