Water Quality Association offers first-ever Business Boot Camp
Day long intensive seminar takes place one day before WQA Convention in Denver

LISLE, Ill. – The Water Quality Association (WQA) is offering its first-ever Business Operations Boot Camp one day prior to the 2018 WQA Convention & Exposition in Denver. The Boot Camp will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018.

“This is a one-day intensive seminar focused on topics such as strategic planning, multi-generational advice (succession planning) and motivating your team,” said WQA Executive Director Pauli Undesser. “We are tending to the needs of members who were asking us for help in growing their business and tackling the challenges that all owners face.”

Topics at the Boot Camp include Reducing Overhead, How to Lead without being a Drill Sergeant and a panel discussion on obstacles to avoid. Some of the presenters and panelists are WQA members, themselves, who have years of business experience.

The Boot Camp will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Colorado Convention Center. Attendees do not have to be WQA members to attend, but members will receive a discount on registration. While registration for Convention is not required to attend the Boot Camp, Convention attendees can register for the Boot Camp when they register for the Convention. For more information and to register, visit WQA.org/bootcamp.

The WQA Convention & Exposition takes place over four days, March 26 – 29, 2018 at the Colorado Convention Center. The Opening General Session features keynote speaker Ross Shafer, six-time Emmy-winning comedian and best-selling author of Nobody Moved Your Cheese.

For more than 40 years, the WQA Convention has been the signature event of the water treatment industry, connecting dealers, manufacturers and consultants with the latest in trends, research, education and networking opportunities. In 2017, 56 countries were represented among the 3,500 attendees of the WQA Convention & Exposition in Orlando.

Attendees and exhibitors can register for the event at WQA.org/Convention. Sponsorship opportunities are available. WQA members receive a 50 percent discount on Program and Buyer’s Guide advertising. For more about WQA Membership, visit wqa.org/membership.

WQA is a not-for-profit trade association representing the residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment industry. Since 1959, the WQA Gold Seal certification program has been certifying products that contribute to the safe consumption of water.
